His comments have sparked major rallies\u2014and losses\u2014in other parts of the market.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/americanhomejournals.com\/?p=993\">See inside the $5.99 million Brooklyn home whose owner is willing to trade for Anthropic stock<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As the AI trade commands more and more attention, Huang&#8217;s remarks have become fodder for investors looking for the next frontier in tech.<\/p>\n<p>Here are four instances when Huang&#8217;s remarks have fueled moves in various corners of the stock market.<\/p>\n<div>\n<section>\n<div>\n<h2>Marvell<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Marvel stock skyrocketed after Jensen Huang said it would be the next $1 trillion company. Shares climbed as much 32% on June 2 after Huang&#8217;s comments, and extended gains on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<iframe aria-label=\"Line chart\" data-external=\"1\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"\" id=\"datawrapper-chart-6eXsv\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/6eXsv\/1\/\" style=\"width: 0; min-width: 100% !important; border: none;\" title=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Recently, Micron and SK Hynix joined the $1 trillion club as surging AI-driven memory chip demand has sent memory stocks soaring.<\/p>\n<p>Huang&#8217;s comments signaled to investors that Marvell could be set for similar gains. Nvidia announced a $2 billion investment in Marvell in March.<\/p>\n<p>The company is a chipmaker with exposure to other areas like optical tech, which has become an emerging bottleneck in AI.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<div>\n<h2>Software stocks<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Software stocks soared after Snowflake&#8217;s blowout earnings report sent the stock up 36% on May 28.<\/p>\n<p>Days later, Huang&#8217;s comment fueled a fresh rally in the space, piling on to the bullish sentiment that helped lift many beaten-down stocks out of their rut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is actually an <u>incredible time to be a software company<\/u>,&#8221; Huang said, dismissing the fears about an AI-driven wipeout that sent the sector spiraling in the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF saw nearly 6% gains on Monday, adding to the more than 6% rally the Friday before.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<iframe aria-label=\"Line chart\" data-external=\"1\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"\" id=\"datawrapper-chart-aIWu1\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/aIWu1\/1\/\" style=\"width: 0; min-width: 100% !important; border: none;\" title=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;A lot of people have said, &#8216;Jensen, AI is coming. Agentic AI is coming. Therefore, all of the software companies are going to go out of business.&#8217; I said it&#8217;s exactly the opposite because there are going to be so many agents,&#8221; Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/americanhomejournals.com\/?p=991\">I cofounded an app that made over $1 million in the last year. We pivoted 5 times and made one big mistake before finding success.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the first time that the CEO pushed back on the idea that AI would eat software. He said the idea that AI will replace software is the &#8220;most illogical thing in the world&#8221; as AI hype turned to fear and pummeled software stocks in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<div>\n<h2>Quantum stocks<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Huang&#8217;s comments can also send stocks lower.<\/p>\n<p>Quantum stocks plunged last year after the Nvidia CEO said that practical uses for AI are decades away.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you said 15 years for very useful quantum computers, that would probably be on the early side.
